Unicorn

Many people consider Unicorns a myth because they have never seen a “horse with a horn”. Simple-minded thinking! Unicorns are known to be magical and some people believe that Unicorns have sufficient magic that they can make their horn vanish from sight and appear as horses. Also complete nonsense! This grossly underestimates the Unicorn. The reality is that they can become totally invisible, horn and all! Such magnificent creatures, I cannot do them justice.

My traveling companion for many years, Shadovar, has taken me to places I could not imagine, throughout this realm and many others. She has been an indispensible help with translations and sorting historical records. The Unicorns are incredibly intelligent creatures. They share a collective intelligence, and can recall stories from any unicorn who has ever lived. My favorite stories are the recollections of Bucephalus, thundering into battle with Alex astride, the drums, the battle crys, the heat and sweat.

Unicorns tend to be shy but do enjoy the company of humans. If you are very worthy (or just lucky), a unicorn may make its presence known to you.
